Today we took the last benchmark for the semester- #23 on constructing triangles by SAS. After that (and finishing HW #44), we reviewed the practice final. A study guide and review assignment will be distributed on Thursday). We also retook benchmarks 20 and 25.
REMINDER:
The last day for benchmark retakes is THIS THURSDAY!! The doors will close at 3:45, so be here before then. And come prepared.
Finals week is next week!!

As you can probably tell, the website got a face lift. Features are still the same, you can post comments for points, but there is a word verification box to prevent "spam". The site is definitely cleaner, but let me know what you think.

Today was the practice final. Check over the weekend for how it raised your grade. If is didn't raise your grade, you've got some studying to do!

We started class with a review of Midsegments from yesterday, then took some notes on proportions and solving similar trigangles. We ended class with benchmarks 20 (on Midsegments) and 25 (on similar triangles). The homework is:

Because of the short day today, we only took benchmarks 22 and 24. No homework over Thanksgiving, so enjoy yourselves. Come back from the long weekend ready to buckle down and get the last few benchmarks (5 actually) out of the way and our first semester done.
Remember, Grade Report #4 is due Thursday, Dec. 1. And that is the FINAL DAY to turn it in. That is also the day of the practice final.
